Leaked memo from Luhnow to Hinch on July 28th 7:21:02:
As discussed:
1) put all roster on DL. (yes ALL starting pitchers, relievers, infield and outfield)
2) Let the Farm team prospects have the field for next 10 games
3) Odd's are they will win SOME of those games..
4) play the odd's, bring back starters for 2 games, then replace them ALL to the DL for 10 more (*unless they come within 3 games of 2nd place team in league)
5) Bring back most of the starters.. resting BP and starting pitchers as much as possible
6) alternate starters days off for rest of Sept.
This will give us a FRESH set of starters going into October and I wont have to deal with ******* owners wanting our farm system for their rental pitchers and lets me avoid another Sipp deal...
