Two remaining questions for the year:

1. Will the Rangers manage to avoid a last place in the division tie w/ the Swinging A's?

2. Will Hinch pull Verlander after about three innings tonight and send in some call up to drill Gomez? I'll be watching just for that possibility. Would generate a really good basebrawl.

As for the Astro commentary above, don't you boys have an Astro thread to comment on?

1. Probably not.

2. I think Verlander goes at least 6 innings.
While I would love to see Gomez drilled, why try to hurt a guy that sucks?
I doubt the Stros go after anyone. There is no need to risk retaliation and
getting one of our post season players hurt. There is always next year.

This is why people talk crap about Houston fans. The Rangers offered what MLB wanted. Reid cried and screwed the people of Houston a lot of money.

You can't use logic, reason, precedent, experience or anything else that makes sense on this subject with them. It's like talking with a mad 4 year old.



Rangers started the mail in in that 2nd game against the A's, if you can't beat the A's, you might as well look to next year.

Nah. When the Rangers suck I'm completely finished with them and baseball in September. It's football season. Don't care about the Astros one way or the other. You won't find any comments from me on the Astros thread. Mainly due to my complete lack of interest in them.
