Slight ankle sprain...MRI was negative. He's in a boot and they were talking coming back after the Nationals series this weekend since they can't use a DH.

I don't think he's finished. But, at 38, and with a lengthening history of leg issues... I worry, seriously, about a leg injury every time he: does the Beltre' 2 Step at the plate, slams on the brakes every time he takes a big round of first on a single and has to hustle back to first, makes a quick move at 3rd, etc. Time waits for no man, and it won't wait on him. He's a big dude, w/ much leg muscle. I hope he's good for awhile to come. But he needs to cool it with the goofing around as it relates to potential leg issues.
