Why can't I post on the politics/current events forum? Was I banned from posting?

The forum admin locked that forum down prior to the election because we could not follow the rules.

Nobody can....The moderators were probably tired of the political threads squabbling and folks posting every article from Fox News website or Facebook on it wasting server space..

Yeah they took down the Technical and Tuning Thread and put that garbage up. I am so sick of politics. I just had my Facebook account deleted and wiped out for numerous reasons but that was one of the contributing factors.
