Those were the perfect age if you ever wanted to snag one...looks like their eyes were still closed...

I was riding around a ranch in my truck with another wild cowboy about 20 years ago and we drove up on 3 bobcat kittens up in a low tree that were about 5 pounds...he wanted to grab one and we went through my truck and found a burlap sack and a pair of my welding gloves...

I kept asking him..."Are you SURE you want to do this? They look kinda old to me..."

    LOL

He ran up to the tree and grabbed one and the rodeo started...hehehe...that was one tough dude and he just got his *** KICKED...that little kitten was a three dimensional skill saw...

I made him ride in the back of the truck till he stopped bleeding...LOL

What a wonderful photo and story! I live with a wildcat hybrid and I adore the crap outta her - best pet I've ever had. But full blooded bob cat - maybe not so good a pet guys! Pretty tempting though, eh?

Servals can make make excellent pets!

Yep, and they are beautiful animals. Possibly the most domestic of all the cats.

Those bobcat kittens already have their eyes open. You can see it on the bottom one. They are at least 8-10 weeks old. Maybe slightly older considering the third one ran away. To come close to taming one, it would have to smell humans and be handled from birth. Those are far too old to really tame.

You think that at first when you see them because they are so cute, then they hiss at you like a wild animal then you know you should not!!!

Had a similar experience at the ranch a few years back! Cute little devils!!!

Those are piercing steel blue eyes of hissing, spitting, rage and fury. He is ready to climb you like a tree and shred you on the way up.

Beautiful cat ZenDada. I hope to get something similar within the next year. My son misses our old cat (regular tabby) that I had to put down about a year ago. If I am going to own another cat, it is going to be something cool.

That is to cool. I hope they make it, but seem to look quite healthy.

I breed them sometimes. I can also recommend other breeders to you. PM me.

Been there, If you take one home they can be tamed but you got to declaw and put caps on there teeth. They can be tamed very easy, but when you play with them they can tear you up and they are only playing. When I was a kid we had 4 of them and had to get rid of them because they was just too rough.

That's cool. Wonder how long they will call that old trailer home?

You can be momma is close by. A lot of the bobcats you see at your feeders are mothers looking for an easy meal. In fact, I've witness momma cats bringing their kittens to feeders to observe and hunt in the past. Love rats and squirrels.
