    'Til next year

This was my first year to bow hunt, and I already can't wait for October. I was able to take a doe during early season, but never saw any shooter bucks while in the tree. When I first saw this guy walk out, I almost messed myself, but quickly saw what saved his life.
He came within about 8 yards of my tree, and I saw that he was broken off after his G2. I got to watch him for about 30 minutes one day, and I am hoping he returns next season. I got quite a few pictures of him on different cameras. Any guesses on age or score?

Has anyone found any sheds yet? I'm hoping to find his.

2-3 tops. 100"? Young buck with good potential.

Hes young. You did good letting him go. Those brows should be even better next year!

I was definitely glad to see his broken antlers. It helped me refrain from taking a shot I would regret. I hope he returns next year, so I can see those brow tines.

Very mature, very run down buck. Not much on score though.

I agree with rtp, that is a mature deer. Minimum 4.5 years old.

Slightly confused with the mixed age estimates. Is he young, or old? What makes you say one or the other? Headed to improvement, or a management buck? Thanks for clarification.
