    Jagd Terrior

Any one have a Jagd Terrior? Looking for a new pup to start training and also be a pet, I began reading about them last night and seems to be a cool breed, but would like to know what the green screen might have to say. Good bad or indifferent, also any breeders you could recommend?

Until you see a JR bay a mature kudu bull you can not appreciate them. They blood trail at full speed. I don't have one but will one day.

They are natural hunters and trackers. Mine tracked her first deer at 8 weeks old

These are NOT in house pets! This breed needs to be outside and busy

I got mine from another TBH'er. I can't find his username anywhere. I think Skylar with Diamond C has a sibling of my pup from the same guy. His username was three letters I think. First letter was D. Sorry that's all I got

Have one. More energy than I have ever seen. Like everyone has said, they are fearless & go all out. I got mine from Masters. She runs right up the side of a 6 ft fence to try and get squirrels. They can be a handful. Ours stays in the house at night & when we are gone, in a kennel, ,but otherwise she lives for outdoors.

It's not the right fit for my family right now, but I'd love to have one someday.

They are not very good around other animals- I had one that ended up meeting his maker at the end of a track. He was fearless and was gritty. He was cool around the house but was full speed all the time. He would climb a tree to fight a coon- catch big hogs- tackle wounded deer. Great dog with plenty of grit. Not for everyone. Not sure I would get one for a pet- Mine hung out in the house and was a great pet but we did go on about a 5 mile run every day. He was about as hard headed as they came and had to ride the lightning usually several times before he gave in. Would not work on a lead worth a crap.
Got mine from Knite Hunt. Great dog for me. And he will rule the roost or die trying.
