Astros Compensation From St Louis

The Astros were awarded the Cardinals first two picks in this year's draft and also $2MM in compensation for one of their employees hacking into their system on many occasions over a 2.5 year period. He was accessing all of the player evaluations prior to the draft and the trade deadline. I believe the guy got 46 month prison sentence and a $275K fine from the Feds for his misdeeds.

Looks like the Astros farm system should get an additional boost this season. They will have 5 of the first 91 picks.

Not sure the Commish would have granted the Astros that pick if it was available. Something we will never know.

Yep, for sure. There should have been more than one person going to jail too.

We should have gotten more...but with our team I will take 5 more picks in the top 100

For those that dont think this was reasonable compensation for damages, what do you think would have been reasonable? The Astros seem to be very happy with it.
