The only way that broad head will possibly penetrate a deer is if it touches nothing but soft tissue. Any contact with bone will stop it in its tracks or drastically deflect it.

MA Elite, do you have any entrance/exit pics of that broad head?

Yep, looks like it would be good for taking meat samples with. The new catch and release?

MA, show me pictures, or videos of NORMALLY placed shots, with these heads, on any animal.

I do think they'd make a great small game head; they'd get tangled up, just like a judo point!

Like Andy said, you'd have to hit nothing but soft tissue for this head to even think about getting any penetration. I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to aim between the ribs on any animal. As far as the pigs being thick skinned, a 60 pound sow's skin is thinner than any south Texas buck. That's why I picked a small one, to start with.

I've read enough comments and based on the construction alone, I would NEVER attempt to take a game animal with this head. The concept alone is ridiculous! To top it off there is evidence of it not penetrating a 100 pound sow..... nah man, nah. But, there's an idiot born every day that will buy this crap...

This design has been out a long time. Razor Ring Broadheads. Guess what the results were with those with most people years ago? That was atleast 15 years ago. Note the age of that add. That's a XX75 and a XX78 Aluminum arrow.

And then there was Saber Maxx.

That design has been trash for atleast 15 years and it's not gonna get any better.

The big question is.....do we need a hunting license to shoot depredating watermelons??

Don't forget this winner that came out a year or two ago. Too much friction to be anything but a maiming broad head.

Those will actually pass through. But they leave all the meat n such plugging the entrance and exit whole up. You can't resharpen em. Can't sharpen em out of the package. It's just a **** poor design. Just not as **** poor a the razor ring but that's not saying much.

Edit: pass through a deer anyway. I wouldn't trust em on deer myself though much less anything tougher.

I think if they can make the ring out of a piece of wire that they may be on to something
