Looks like the one I built for my feeder. When I cut the screen/fence material I left every other horizontal piece on the top about 2" or so longer than the top rail. I then bent the piece over and into a loop and used sheet metal screws to screw to bottom of barrel.

Looks like the cage worked just fine...he didn't get away and the corn thief was caught red handed...LOL I think it's punishable by firing squad.

Them critters are something, aint they..

Put you a small solar fence charger on there and you will do away with that problem.
