Off to a great start!

My 5 year old daughter wanted a bow for Christmas, so....being a NASP trainer and instructor...I got Santa to bring her a Genesis kit. We practiced a while on a string bow and finally got out today with the beautiful weather. Shot 3 ends of 5 before lunch, then 2 more after nap time.

These were her last 2 shots.
I couldn't be prouder or happier. She's hooked.

My wife is a heck of a shot on a leftie bow evidently. Scared to see what she does with a right handed one.

We shot again this week after school.

She asked to hold it all by herself. Still a lot of weight for her but by golly, she did it!

The kid is hooked.

Gotta love a lefty!!! My granddaughter and I were trying to shoot last summer and I noticed she was struggling with head position. Next time I Had her shooting a LH model and no problems. Right handed but left-eye dominant.

I coach our NASP group and I agree that there are a lot of cross dominant kiddos. Interesting for sure.
