new home water line question.

When running the pex water line for a new home, is it possible to run the lines for the outside faucets on the house that you water the lawn with separate from the rest of the water supply . I do not want all of the water used for the lawn to go thru the water softener.

Yes it is possible, just tee off from main line so you have one going to softener and the other to hose bibs

If there is a hydrant You might use to wash a vehicle with may want it to include it on the system

yea the only thing i wish i did different..
you can also add a bib inline before the softener like i did

Yep, mine is that way. Hose bibs do not run thru softener.
