    Moving a job site trailer?

Guys we are moving leases here soon and we have an old job site trailer with no plates or anything. New place is an hour or two away. How could I go about moving this thing?

Just drag it along and hope for the best with flasher lights or is there a way to get temp plates. We don't have any paperwork on it is one issue.

    Thoughts?

get a temp permit from the county

If it is over 8' wide you have to get a permit to move it. If you don't get a permit and bootleg it, then plates are irrelevant.

This, it's like 15$ for a temp tag.

A towing service (wrecker service of sorts) can move it for you legally. Might be easier to hire it done if you don't have a vehicle with the capacity to move it easily. If you do have a vehicle, it's worth the effort to try to get a permit.

I moved mine with temporary plates, F350 , and during the day, and stayed below speed limit, and really needed a wide load permit, but didn't get one , pulled from San Antonio to
Freer , lots of DPS , but never got stopped
It was a beast to have behind the truck

doing it in daylight will be less suspicious.

Hire an Illegal alien to move it. If they get caught report everything stolen

Fella moved one onto our place several years ago. Made sure the lights worked and tied onto it with a 1 ton. I been trying to have it come get it

Get it from the county you are moving it out of.
