Prayers sent for your wife. The docs can get it under control.

We have a guy down here at the shop that used to get anxiety attacks bad. I've actually had to put him in a bear hug and hold him until he calms down.

I went through it with my ex wife. A lot of people don't understand anxiety until they have dealt with it. We had to call EMS one time due to a severe panic attack and it scared the hell out of me. Over time she started staying with her parents while I lived at home and worked. Unfortunately that divide and time apart is what slowly lead to our divorce. Please stay strong as I know it's hard to handle at times. Love her and don't let this come between you and her. I'm happy to hear she is seeking help and I'm sure a psychologist will help tremendously. Hopefully things will get back to "normal" soon and she can whip the anxiety, although it's something she will have to deal with for the rest of her life. Prayers up for both of you.

My friend went through that pretty bad several years ago. He did some research and found out that thousands of people on line mentioned that the allergy medicine clairiton could be causing it. He quit his RX for that drug and has been fine since.
If she takes any meds for things other than the anxiety it might be worthwhile to look into them.

Prayers up. I dealt with it for several years. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
