Lets talk windows for the house...Corpus area

I just got the outside of the home redone. Hardy board installed, painted and looking good for an older home built in the 60's.
Now looking for windows. Any suggestions...I want to have them installed. This is not a DIY for me. I hear commercials for Window World.....legit?
    Any other ideas

I built my own house and went with Pella, wood inside and aluminum out. They have been perfect these last 20 years. They were an easy install and look very nice. We bought them through Home Depot and they were several thousand less than the Pella Window Store.

Go with vinyl. Do some research on them, their are plenty to choose from. Don't go with window world, they stand on their windows not behind them. And you should have done the windows before the exterior. There will be some caulk and paint needed after the windows are replaced.

Don't go Renewal by Andersen unless you want to pay 5-6x more than anywhere else. Got 4 bids, Renewal was over $30k and the next highest big was $5,300. Was about 20 windows total for a house built in 68

I used Superior Windows. I wanted aluminum wrapped in vinyl. Only ones that had them. They did an awesome job.
Renewal and Gulf coast were a joke. Started at $32000 and were down to $18000 while I was kicking them out the door

I would stay away from Window world.

We went with Gulf Coast Windows and are happy. They are not cheap.

I used Window World (In SA). They were the cheapest with the "best" warranty. Windows survived the hail last spring. Now the install was a nightmare. I had to hound the guys to cleanup and fix little things. They would start around 11am and the first night they didn't finish till 10pm. My daughter was a little over a month old at the time....
I had about half of my screens damaged from the hail, dropped them off and they had them fixed in less than a couple hours. Windows will completely change how your house regulates temperature.

I recently used Window World. I would not use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.
