2017 San Angelo area season thread

Headed West around noon. I dont care if the moon is full, I need some West Texas Therapy.


Plus this will be the first trip for my son Barrett (4) to go to the deer lease with me. No mommy and no sissy this trip.

Full moon made it tough this afternoon. Only saw a 2.5 year old 8pt. Gonna give it another go in the morning.

One of my guys put down one of our 5.5yr culls last night. Doubt he was 100" but was a healthy 175lbs

We are headed out Sat at noon as I have a kids fishing event here local I need to attend. We are gone through Tuesday. Hoping to see a few deer in person. I went back and looked through all 16K pics and found a few surprises.

and I think this is a deer we called Too Tall Jr who added some tine length and a base drop.
