    Problem with Stealth Cam?

I have had good luck with my new Stealth I540Ir. It takes awesome pics. However I swapped it to video the other day. I got there this morning and the cam said the card was full. I pulled it and put it on my computer and it said I had to format the card before I could use it. I put the card in the digital camera and same thing. I have no idea what was on the card if anything. On picture mode it has worked flawlessly. Anyone had similar results? I did format it with the deer cam before I put it in. Card is fine, I took a picture with a digital camera and it loaded just fine. Any ideas?

You can't put cards in a different digital cameras, it will mess them up. I had that happen to me w/ my stealth cam. It says in the instuctions not to use cards that have been used in other digital cameras because the formatting is different. You can switch cards from one stealth cam to another. I always reformat the cards(if compact flash) each time I put them into the camera. It its a scan **** you don't have to.

i used it for a while with good luck. So I should never format it from the computer? The camera had no problem using it. My computer however couldnt read it, that shouldnt be a function of formatting should it? My next question is then do i need to get a new sd card and never put it in anything else but a stealth or a computer?

try a new card. You can get 3 new sd cards or compact flash cards at wolfcamera.com. all you have to do is pay shipping ($6.95) after rebate.

I have swapped cards between a Bushnell, StealthCam and Moultrie with no problems. I format them on my laptop between each use to clear them from anything from the previous camera. It might be a problem if you take one from one brand camera and put it straight into another without formatting.

If formatting did not work, like Brannon said, try a new card. A friend on my lease had the same problem recently and the card showed to be working when it was formatted but we could not get it to work in any game cams. Those cheap cards sometimes just don't work or quit working.
