Something doesn't look right to me

I concur, looks like big rubber snake painted to look like a copperhead.
It's just not hanging in the tree right, if dead it should be hanging limp, if not it should look.....not like that looks.

Looks almost like a rubber snake, but definitely copperhead-y.

The belly color does not look like any copperheads I have seen. I have never seen a banded water snake that color in South Texas so would not know what the belly color would be of one in other areas.
