      It falls between the 357 & 41. I push these 200 grain bullets just over 1250fps with a 6.5" barrel.

        Reason I ask is i have been working up a load with xtp's and gold dots to hunt with behind some blue dot. My thought was to keep the velocity up.

        How did the xtp hold together?


        I felt they would hold up better and penetrate deeper on a hog than the lighter bullets. I also have some 220 grain hardcast that I hope to try out on pigs.

        Based on the entry/exit holes and the quick kill, I'd say it did just fine. Exit hole was about the size of between a quarter and fifty cent piece.
