Let's try this one; scott release or Carter? If so, which one?

If you want a wrist or index release then I would opt for a Scott; however if you are looking at a thumb model then there is really no comparison between Scott and Carter's fleet of releases. Chances are you will find a Carter that fits you perfectly.

For a wrist I would go with a Carter. All the Scott's I have had have been more of a "hair" trigger and you can't load them up like a Carter Lucky or Like Mike.

Scot has made a lot of headway in recent years. Carter still the edge because they use the highest quality materials and have the best sears.
