THAT is my favorite kind of hunting... challenging... had to work for it... much more rewarding than shooting one from under a corn feeder.....

don't get me wrong, i WILL shoot animals from under a feeder all day long, but this type hunting gets my vote every time... nice write up

Had the Arabian oryx visit this evening. No shots fired today. Going to hunt in the am then head over and grab my trailer from the lease and it's back to Amarillo.

I didn't put a tape on him but I think they did score him. If entered I believe he would be #2 or 3 all time sci with a bow. I think he was in the low 40's but I didn't measure and never heard a final number. I don't put anything in any record books so I don't usually score them unless the ranch wants to know.

Lubbock/Amarillo/Panhandle area guys, we must get together a Bachelor Party for DocMay somewhere before the wedding. Let's get this thing going and make it happen.

If it is Amarillo, fine or Lubbock or wherever let's do it. You guys in Amarillo have a place and time, great, let's here it. I would say maybe March 4 here at Lubbock at the new chapter of the Dallas Safari Club: Lubbock Sportsman's Club Banquet. Free drinks. lots of great auctions and maybe Doc can buy a hunt/honeymoon trip!
