    Help Front right brake problems

So my wives car 2008 Hyundai Azera was pulling bad to the left when applying the brakes. So I replaced the brake pads both rotors still in good shape actually the pads were not that bad. Took it for a test drive still pulled real bad to the left.

Put back on jack to see if I needed to bleed the right front brake. I noticed that the caliper was still loose from where I had compressed the puck when installing the pads. Had wife pump and hold cracked the bleeder nothing. So i pulled the bleeder out to see if i had an obstruction, and nothing. So I did the self bleed leaving the bleeder valve open with cap off and had fluid to a drip but still can not get it to squirt like it should when bleeding. So I unhooked the line from the caliper very little fluid. Had wife press break and barely a drop came out.

So thinking my flex line may have collapsed or blocked I unhooked it from the hard line coming off the firewall and from the caliper and blew air through it not obstructed. Had the wife press the brake again and nothing from the metal line the flex line connects to came out. The peddle is very firm but just not getting fluid to the right side. I have not ABS lights or codes on. What steps would one suggest next?

    Sounds like a caliper issue

That is what i thought too but with no pressure a new one would not expand. At least that is my thought.

I would disconnect from the master cylinder and the caliper. Put compressed air on the line and check to see if it blows through. If not, you've got an obstruction in the line. Tray and bleed the brake line again. If that's good and still no pressure on that side, I'd be looking at replacing the master cylinder.

well, first off you said it was pulling to the RIGHT and you replaced pads and then it was STILL pulling to the LEFT. I would start by making an "l" with you r hands and the one you can read is your left. After we get the directions straight then we will further assess the situation..i kid I kid ...is this front wheel drive or rear?

That is a little confusing fixed it. It is pulling to the left when applying the brakes. It is front wheel drive and drives straight as an arrow until you apply the brakes.

I had a pinched metal brake line causing the same problem about a year ago. If you removed the line from the caliper and still have nothing, I would think it is master cylinder or a pinched brake line.

If you are not getting pressure at the caliper then it is probably not the caliper. Keep working back to the master cylinder until you have pressure. It could just be a collapsed or clogged line but it is probably a bad portion valve or master cylinder.

I think just open stuff up working from the caliper back like you had started on. Eventually you will find the plugged spot, and then can fix it. Might be the master. Sometimes the Google has others with the same problem on similar vehicles, might be worth a search.

If all other calipers work fine, it is the line. Typically the left front line is closest to the master cylinder, and last one to bleed. If the other calipers work fine it won't be the master cylinder.
