Bragging on my daughter

Gotta brag a little on my daughter. She just turned 13 and has definitely turned into a great hunter. She loves everything about hunting and enjoys eating the deer meat that she brings home. Makes me so proud!!! Killed two deer this year.






Both deer dropped in their tracks. Killed them with a Remington model 700 chambered in 243. She got her first buck last year. Now I gotta get her started on pig population control. Watching your kids get animals is way more fun than doing it yourself!!!

Enjoy it while you can. They grow up fast. Had my oldest head off to college this year and youngest is only around for a couple more years. I was laughing last year when I shot a couple does on a TPWD public hunt when I realized it was the first deer I'd shot in 7 years. Had my boys filling the freezer every year but loved every minute of it. Just hope when I'm old and in a wheel chair, they load me in a truck and roll me to the stand
