Mathews Q2 bow - thoughts on used bow

Sounds like fair deal! I still shoot an Ultra 2 and kill as much as my buddies with new bows.I really like some of the older solo cam Mathews they are a breeze to tune and I seem to just shoot them very well even better than the newer bows Ive tried!They are a little louder and have more hand shock than the newer stuff but the deer still die just as quick!

But seriously, not a bad deal. Save your money and buy something newer. There are better deals on newer bows out there.

First Matthews I ever owned. Light and quiet. Very good bow!

I bought one new in 2000 when Mathews first started producing them. Shot it for 11 years before I sold it for $250 fully rigged with hard case. Killed countless deer and hogs with it. Your price is about on par.

The 2000 Q2 was also the first bow Mathews produce with the harmonic dampeners in the riser. It was a huge difference from anything else I had shot in 2000. It also had no string dampener of any kind. But STS made one later for it. I still have an STS string dampener for a Q2 if you need one.

Got a good friend (CastandBlast's uncle) that shoots a Q2. He has 2 of them and has shot them since they first came out... He's a killer with them. they are fast, quiet and deadly accurate with repeatable performance over and over again. I guarantee you twice that wouldn't buy either one of his.

This! We actually bought him a Z7 a couple of years ago as a Christmas present and he still shoots his Q2. He has killed a ton of animals with it. One of the most consistent bows I have ever seen. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for $250

I have a friend that hunts with a q2 and refuses to buy the newer technology. And he kills with it all the time. Loves the bow. I shot it and it's an awesome bow!
He killed this hoss a little over a year ago.....

It's either his q2 or outback. He shoots the q2 most of the time
