Safety Harness question

im right handed and have no problems drawing on my strong side with no interference from my harness tether from that side. but on my weak side my tether gets in the way of me drawing back my bow. is there a certain technique to use or should i raise or lower my tether to allow me to come to full draw?

2 questions

first what type of harness do you have, and second how does it attach to the tree? I usually turn around, and loosen the tether, and put it under my arm to shoot to the hard right. it puts enough slack to move, and still tight enough to stop me from falling. maybe you can play around with it from the ground til you find the best way for you. And congrats for wearing your harness!!

http://www.ameristep.com/harnesses/226harness.html, it just seems the tether is kind of short which is a good thing but doesnt allow much flexibility when it comes to shooting on your weak side.

I would say loosen the tree strap, and lower it below your waist. Then I would turn to the right, and draw. Like I said, try it from a chair on the ground to simulate standing and drawing with it on. Hope that helps.
