Now for WM
I buy at WM. And Mom and Pop shops. And online. And in parking lots. All depends on what I need/want/when...

He turned many old country boys into millionaires. I realize that model has been largely lost though.
The EBT/lonestar card has nothing to do with walmart. All grocers take it.
Now for employees being unhappy. I totally agree. Its a different company with far less opportunity an benefits now.
This ^^^^^ is dead on! Sam Walton would not recognize what Walmart has become.

I think that theft got the Wal Mart in Hearne as well. Yes, I miss the Gibson stores as well. When I go through Kerrville, there is rarely a trip that I don't stop even if I don't need anything.
Thankfully, Menard does not have a Wal Mart when we get one, I think I will move to Marathon.
Adios,
Gary

Behind the US Government and People's Liberation Army (China), Walmart is the world's largest employer. With 2.1 million employees, they are clearly offering some value to their employees and their customers.
It always amazes me how many people complain about government regulation and preach "free market", yet have an issue when a big business (that once was a small business) moves into their town. Some people are never happy.

Walmart in Princeton opened last May I think, already we've had a stabbing, huge fight with a guy having to get care flighted, and now some jackwagon started a fire in there.
Its been closed now for like a week and expected to be closed for another couple. Walmart just brings in the crazies!!!
