Vet told me to put his ear on top of his head and wrap with gauze. Go around his head and wrap heavlly. The bleeding would stop but he would shake his head and start again.

Corn starch over and over we use it all the time at the shelter

heat a nail cauterize, or rubber cement and a roll of vet wrap from TSC. I used all things on my dogs, lots of ear cracks, fights, bites and the best is vet wrap and contact cement or super glue. Wrap the ear closed with vet wrap, to keep it from flopping.

Flour or a tampon....both will work. Best would be super glue
