I mentioned to Shawn that I was going to put in a loft and he suggested I have Donny put in the beams now. I called Donny and we worked it out.

Donny Fountain out of Center. Foundation by Shawn Danley. Get with Donny before buying a kit. He can build a welded building for close to the same price. TPS742 used him as well.

Steel Building Questions - Getting Ready to Build

Weather slowed them down for a few days but the walls are up.

Looking good Lip. It should be Randy for equipment in the near future.

They put the roof on this morning. If the weather holds out, they'll finish the trim and gutters today and should install the doors tomorrow.

The building itself was completed today. Still need electrical, restroom, plumbing, loft floor, stairs...

Trail cam pics are all I have for now:

Man, I could almost live in something like that!

                  Is it for rent?

                  j/k Looking good brother!

Any updates? The good or bad with what you did, like to see more recent pictures too.

I am about to pull the trigger on a 30X50 weld up in the Caldwell area on our recent 25 acre purchase. Putting lean to on both ends @ 12', concrete on one side, two doors in middle, splitting into shop and man cave. right at 28/sq foot which is 3 rollups and insulated and plummet for bathroom.

I haven't had a chance to build out the restroom or the loft inside the building or add electrical but hopefully will get that done sometime in the next 6 months. I have the drains for a commode and sink. The wife wishes it had a shower so when the grands are playing in the mud kitchen they would have a place to shower before coming into the house. I'm not sure if it would get much use but I would probably plumb it for one if I had it to do over. I like where my three doors are. I can drive through the one on the right side of the. Holding and out the back into the field. Now that the fence is up, the front side is in the yard, back side is in the field. Pouring the full slab across the front instead of runners at each door was a good idea. I'd go ahead and pour it end to end next time instead of stopping a few feet after the door. Of course if it isn't going to be integral with your back yard, having this much concrete in front of the building isn't a big deal. I added the beams on one end for a loft, I haven't built it and don't need it yet but I would consider beans for a loft in the middle if I needed more storage space. Adding them with the build is cheaper and easier than adding after the build. I'll see what pictures I have or take some this weekend but the building itself is finished in these pictures.

Nice doing business with you yesterday Lip. Thanks for showing me around the improvements you have made to your shop, very nice. You have a beautiful place and it shows you both work on it.

Glad you came out to the place so I could show you around. Still a lot of work to do but it’s coming along.

Bonner Electric is the company and they are out of Jacksonville. I highly recommend them if they’ll make the drive to your place whenever you’re ready.

It's been a while since I updated so thought I'd share a few pics. Loft is pretty well finished, electricity is in. Plumbing is in. We decided to build a bunk room under the loft so working on that as well as finishing the bathroom. Since we're putting in a bunk room, we decided to add a shower.
