The thread is titled incorrectly - It should say: Motor shorting timer?
I know almost nothing about electricity, and I am trying to get to the bottom of a problem I have:
On occasion, when I run a test feed, the timer turns off after the test. The screen just goes blank even though all the wiring is still in tact.
I have replaced the timer, and it seemed like it was working fine. I went out this weekend, and the timer had not been working since I left it.
I started doing the test run, and then also doing a test with two different feed times before leaving it.
I am no rocket scientist, but I figure the problem is either the timer, the motor, or the battery. I have used different batteries and different timers, so I am making a post before I reluctantly do what I'm sure I need to do, replace the motor.
However, I also want to see if anyone knows what might be happening, oh and I'm sure I will get a few people who say I need to buy The Timer since the timers I have been running are Moultrie.
