    Carbon monoxide

I got a call last night that a good friend of mine lost his daughter, her boyfriend and his father to carbon monoxide poisoning. They were sleeping in a rv and never woke up, they were somewhere around Plano. Please us O2 monitors in your rv, I have always worried about this so much that I won't use gas in my trailer.

Thanks for the reminder, I've been meaning to get a CO monitor for the cabin for over a year since added a propane heater. Just added one to my cart on amazon

Make sure that they are mounted correctly. In my RV it was mounted 4' off the floor. I'd be dead before it went off. No more than 20" from the floor. Make sure it is below your sleeping height.

Terrible and why id never use an RV gas heater.
Like mentioned ALWAYS have a detector anytime you have gas appliences.

Oh my, that's terrible. Ill be getting a CO monitor even though I rarely use the propane in the camper anymore.

Carbon monoxide is almost neutral density with air. There is not manufacture recommendation on installation height.

                              That's horrible.
I saw a start up selling a tIny CO monitor that clips on a smart phone and thought 'who needs that'. Now I know.

God bless them and all who mourn their deaths.
