Suggestions for a real nice date night place / romantic dinner in Austin?

Keep the jokes down you clowns lol. Me and the wife don't get to go out much so I'm looking for suggestions on where to take her. Steak house, normal food. The atmosphere is the important part to me for her. Wasn't sure where else to ask lol. We've been to Perry's and the longhorn club etc. Wanting something pretty nice but not $500 for us to eat. Movie or something would be nice as well. We go to the Ipic fairly often already. Thanks in advance.

Just kidding... I'm not very familiar with Austin so I'm no help.

Hard to go wrong with Bob's Steak and Chop House in downtown.

Lonesome Dove Western Bistro I've heard is nice and serves wild game....but I can't personally vouch for it.

Moonshine bar and grill. Best date nite restaurant/bar imo. Been there many times. Very cool place.

If you know of a romantic location that your wife loves, have it catered and just spend time with her. I set up a date for a great friend and his wife for their anniversary and used Pink Avocado Catering there in Austin.

              Fabi + Rosi in Austin.

And get a bottle of 2008 Cain Five while you're there. [emoji6]

Check out Lenoir or Alcomar. Both are excellent and won't break the bank. They are right across the street from each other south of the river on 1st St and Mary st I believe.

Roscoe should be chiming in here directly. I hear he lives down that way.

Or make reservations at Hudsons on the Bend. I haven't been there in forever. Food is awesome.

This is Wagyu Beef. It's cut it with a plastic spoon tender.
