It'll be that way here tomorrow morning in most places. We'll have to find a spot in the woods where there's some current to keep a hole open.

I'm seriously thinking about a quick trip to the river bottom for a few ducks this weekend. I've got a narrow window so I'm not sure I'll make it, but would sure like to!

Yup, going to be in a layout blind shooting ducks Saturday morning. May have to stuff some handwarmers in my pockets!

Break a hole and throw an ice eater in it! If I had access to private waters I would be all over it with my ice eater.


Ill be in the blind with SFABowhunter and jfalcone8 seeing if we cant get a few fresh birds to work. Hoping 2 Mr buddy heaters will keep us from turning into popsicles

Absolutely love hunting in the cold weather. Only thing that would make it better if it was snowy/icy.

If they were deep enough we would but they are literally frozen all the way through no breaking holes.. lol it is literally 11 degrees with a real feel of -2

Two things:

The Blast and Cast Men's Ministry is have their annual Rockport Duck hunting event this weekend. 100+ Men and sons on the water.

We are not going to be there this year cause we have an invite for my son to shoot a cull 8 point buck in Kerrville. I'm gonna shoot a couple of Axis doe. We need meat !!!

Brutal weather for being in a boat on the bay. Great weather to be in a heated deer blind.
