    Anyone use spot crime?

Ho-lee-mo-lee there are some areas that are an absolute cesspool of crime. Robberies, vandalism, theft, and assaults. It must be the same group of thieves who are purposely mixing up when they choose to burglarize. In one area they hit four or five businesses in a three day period. Some were in the daytime and others were at night. These businesses were all close together.

Seems like every week there are either assaults or burglaries on one street in particular.

I live in the sticks on a street out in the middle of nowhere. That street has 12 houses on it. The lady next door worked for the title company when we closed in 2003. The next time I spoke with her was 5 years later on the telephone when she called and said my husband is headed over to your gate with a rifle because there is a strange truck blacked out in your drive. My other neighbor the opposite side I talked to about once a year, He called as well. I slipped out the back with my pistol and a flashlight. We all congregated on the truck. Turns out it was a coworker of my niece coming to coyotee howl at the girl. My point is, you don't have that kind of fellowship and ability to control your surroundings when you live in a crap hole city. Oh and the next time I saw my neighbor lady was april 2016. She came to check on us during the flood. God I have the perfect neighbors.

It is a website that shows police activity. It is fairly accurate but sometimes only reports what was reported vs. what was found.

There is no need to talk about Dallas like that.

Glad to hear you have people looking out for each other. Only reason I'm living where I'm at now is due to taking care of my parents.

One night two black guys showed up in a lifted hummer. A family member had just pulled out of the driveway. The moment he was out of sight, they quit moving forward and quickly backed up past the property. I'm sure they noticed the security camera signs. Passenger got out and started using a tiny light on neighbor's mailbox searching for house number. When he couldn't find one he trespassed on my land and was trying to get a look at an antique plow I had behind the fence. They took off. If they were dumb enough to come back later and break in.......

That's what I was thinking too. It doesn't give the entire details or story. I know certain things that are reported in a different manner don't show up.

                      It's racist, I know. :

According to the mayor and other leaders it smells like roses.

Years back an undercover agent tried to alert leaders about the drug cartels having certain operations in town. They didn't want to hear about it. Bad for business.

I've never used the app if there is one. Just gives you a daily report.

I wonder, what all these crap-hole neighborhoods have in common?

Interesting. Might be worth downloading just to see how accurate it really is against whats actually happening.

edit: checked out the website and it appears to not be very accurate at all. Theres more thats happened in the last few days than is listed. I also notice that most of the reported 'thefts' are actually shop lifters. **checking the area Im in only
