    Utah Mule Deer???

    Hey guys,

I am working on my applications this year and was curious if anyone has ever hunted Utah for mule deer? Is so, where?

I have been looking at the Wasatch and San Juan areas, but not sure being that I have only hunted Mule Deer in NM or AZ.

There are giants in UT. But you might want to spend some time researching the units. For example, the Pausaungunt unit is one of the most desirable in the state and you might draw it once every ten years.

I have zero input as to where but I have an phone appointment with huntinfool tomorrow to discuss Wyoming mule deer hunting. You should look into the huntinfool.com services

Yep, the Paunt and Henrys are royalty, but I like hunting, not sitting at the house. I'm 34 and not getting any younger. ha ha ha

I was a member several years back, with them, Jason Carter with his new Epic and the GoHunt website. But just curious if anyone had actually hunted Utah.

My father and I did a guided rifle hunt about 8 years ago and we had a blast and killed 2 nice bucks. The hunt was in Carbon County and with Shayne Ford of High Country outfitters. One of the guides buddies shot a 214" on public land and stopped by to show us and that thing was ridiculous big! My dad killed a 174 and I killed a 167"....I saw a 180 five minutes into the hunt and passed on him and actually glad I did because the hunt was a blast and I didn't take my buck until the 4th evening of a 5 day hunt.
