Skinny and FND Live Hunt Challenge 2017

I followed a decent blood trail for a couple hundred yards...then it dried up. The pig left guts hanging everywhere. It's dead but no telling how far it went.

No luck finding the pig....but I did stumble on a big boar laying in a mud hole. He was sound asleep at 10 yards. I looked for entry and exit wounds. It wasn't my pig. He got a pass.

Yeah. Sucks. But it ain't the first pig I've ever failed to recover and it certainly won't be the last!

No hunting for me. Not feeling too well.

Sorry bout the bad luck Skinny, but at least there's one less pig. Too bad you didn't have the bow when you caught the boar napping. Hope you get over your crud soon FND so you can make up some ground, Skinny is getting serious!

Thanks and yeah that pig was back in some reeds passed out! Doubt I could have got a shot off with a bow.

He was laying there facing away from me and I could see the air coming out of his nose bubbling in the water he was laying in. Pretty cool encounter. I should have taken some video, but it was pretty thick and I was more focused on looking through my scope trying to see if it was my wounded pig. I pretty much did the Comanche sneak back outta there as not to disturb him.
