Understood . I did hunt Sunday evening, in a pop-up, without a Thermacell, and no window screens, in a wet bottom by a creek with running water. There were a few skeeters. But for some reason they were not aggressive. May have been to hot for them . Was for me.

I did have a giant 2" recluse crawling above one of the windows. I tried to swat it with my cell phone. But it jumped off on the dirt floor full of leaves and gear. Only to be lost. Im'a spray-n down my blinds with permethrin again. Didn't get a chance to before using it Sunday.

What about hanging a cow eat tag instead of permethrin?
I've heard it works. Just never tried it yet
