Squirrel hunting

Prepping for squirrel hunting after deer season is over. What size shotshells and choke you recommend using for bushytail hunting? I shoot a benelli m2 12 ga.

I like 7 1/2 with modified.

6 shot and a modified or full with a 12 gauge, but fair warning, that will blow them away if they're close and still might not be able to knock them out of the tall trees!

6-shot with full or modified will work best. But its really going to depend on the terrain you are hunting.

Same here. And #4 doesn't leave quite as many pellets in them as the 6's. But either works.

Winter squirrels get a 22. Spring squirrels get a mod choke 20 ga and 6s

I like a .22 cal pellet rifle. After things settle down a bit I hit a squeaky toy to bring em back out.
