We spent several days over Christmas in Abilene with family. Lucky for us we have a small place to hunt there. My 10 year old is always game and is a deer killer.
My 7 year old has been a little slower to come around but finally showed quite a bit of interest.
We got several hunts in over the week and my 10
Year old killed a doe and a turkey while my 7 year old had a severe case of buck fever on a group of pigs and missed. But totally redeemed himself on a doe our last hunt of the week. His first kill.
We had some great times in the blind being silly and talking and thanking the Lord for the opportunity to hunt.
I love seeing them succeed but I might never get to shoot a deer again with them. Ha. They are all over it.
