    Rotator Cuff Surgery

The three words that make every Bow Hunter quiver.

Had my right Rotator Cuff fixed two years ago. Something that I had milked from Desert Storm.

Lifting a deer into the back of my MULE three weeks ago and felt my left shoulder get my attention. After a MRI last week I will need to get my Left Rotator Cuff fixed.

Good timing, if there is such a thing. It will be fixed and PT'd before Bow Season 2017. BTDT

Note to self: Use the darn Warn Wench you installed on the back of the Mule to hoist animals instead of trying to be 25 again. Yer NOT.....LOL

Had mine done last October 12. Could shoot a bow today somewhat confident. Prob could have a month ago with some pain, but would have been scared it would all tear out. Still hurts a little. Hopefully goes away within the year. Building back strength now. Got extremely weak being dormant for that long. But strength coming back pretty fast. Good luck!

With my right, I had a very nice Physician Assistant that threatened to cut my arm off if I even thought of picking up a bow until 10 weeks. She meant it too. LOL
