    F150 Radio issue question

Ive got a '12 F150 and a few weeks back every once in a while the radio (either on AM/FM or Sirius) would "pop" like it got a surge or something and then after a few seconds would come back on. Last week while driving on a long trip it did the same pop but didn't come back on. I pulled off to grab a burger and turned the truck off and when I turned it back on everything worked again as normal.

Tonight it did it and has not come back on. The time is flashing but the radio/sirius won't come on or am I able to connect blue tooth for my phone. All of the controls (volume, AUX, etc) are still lit up but do not do anything.

Any ideas on what the issue might be? My initial thought was maybe a fuse and I honestly have not really checked them yet but could be some kind of other electrical issue so figured I would see what the GS had to say.

Thanks in advance for the help.

My wife's '12 Expedition loses all sound when she receives a text message while connected to Bluetooth. Ford quoted us well over $500 to replace. Comes back on after restarting.

Radio head unit is going out. My 2011 did the same thing. Known issue.

My wife's did that. Warranty finally fixed it after 3 trips back to the dealership. Just replace it with and aftermarket touch screen, wish I had.....cheaper and less headache

Did you replace it your self or have someone do it? How much did it cost you?

            Thanks.
