Anybody try this yet? We cut cable almost 2 years ago do to cost. But heck if we can get it down to 35 bucks might be worth it.

I bought a firestick on ebay that was jailbroken

    spent 57$ on ebay

I can watch any movie that is in theatres right now on my couch, I can watch any tv show any movie and series any PPV fight and ect all for free.....so essentially since I bought the firestick ive saved 1000$ of cable bills...their is an APP called Kodi, that is the app where you can watch anything you want

all you need is a good internet connection, I'm watching the UFC fight tonight for free

yep, once you get used to scrolling and finding the right add-ons for tv shows, movies, PPV, news channels, sporting events, NFL REDZONE its addicting...like I said I haven't had cable in 10 months, only thing you need is decent internet for no buffering

ghostgobblin22, do you get any of the outdoor channels? Really miss the hunten shows and the spurs games more than anything else.

I watch all the outdoor channels for free, I watch all the mavs games for free...the jailbroken ones can only be bought on ebay and the sellers usually give you a 1 year warranty, its a fun tool once you figure out how to use it

I've had a jailbroken firestick for a while now, if you really want to watch the UFC fight you better make other plans. The streams on the firestick are absolutley horrendous.

ive had 4 great streams in a row with it, I have an excellent internet connection though, mediocre or below wont work well for PPV events

What's the difference between a firestick that is jail broken and one that simply has Kodi installed? I bought my firestick last week and installed Kodi with a few add-ons.

It's the same thing I believe. Adding Kodi is pretty easy to do now.
