Muzzleloader Season Help??

Just got my first muzzleloader (flintlock). Anyone in the DFW hunting that season that would let me tag along to learn the ropes? Public is fine too

The tactics to hunt the deer are the same, but with that flintlock, I'm guessing you need to hold on target a while longer while everything works to send the ball down range.

Have you figured out the range of the rifle?

FYI not all public land has the ML season, even in counties that have it, check your regs for season dates and weapons restrictions before you go.
