    First drop tine buck!

Shot this monster (not really) this morning. He came in with a group of 4 and was obviously the dominant buck. The rest coward when he stepped into the field. I managed to gather myself enough to raise my gun (Mauser action 30-06, Leupold scope with Winchester 150 grain power max bullet) . After a few minutes (seconds) I was able to get off a shot. I watched him run to the edge of the field and fall. The celebration (I gutted him) began!
    Have a great day everyone!

Now think of what he'd have been in 5 - 6 years had you let him grow... it's first set of antlers and he had a drop... [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

Maintaining your composure in that situation is key! Lots of people rush the shot when a droptine monster steps out. Congrats!
