    What next?

I live in Aledo, some of You will know the area....
I saw a high 130 class buck killed on Markham Ranch Road, he was still quivering and his left side was broke off, I drug him off the road, went to Ft. Worth, and on my way back, I noticed his antler had been sawed off in less than an hour! I took pics with my phone, but it's not letting me send pics to email..... With his left side broken off at about 1 inch from the skull, his main beam was 13" or more off the ground! He was a HOSS! Probably 160+ lbs on the hoof.....

I am just amazed at how many people apparently carry saws in their truck???

I saw a pic in a feed store this week of a 130 class deer that was killed back West of Aledo, somewhere off of 1187.

Mason, like you I am amazed at the size of some of the suburban bucks around here. Two nights ago I was driving down FM5/Annetta and a really big heavy mature buck chased a doe through my headlights right at the railroad crossing. This morning I saw a headless carcass on the shoulder near my house off Bankhead. Don't knowif it was a roadkill or if it was dumped.

I have seen quite a few good deer in that area and a friend who used to live off Kelly Rd killed his biggest buck ever on his place. I guess lots of folks are finding out, because the corp land at Benbrook apparently has a full draw lately. Another friend, who used to be drawn every time, has not been drawn in three years.

I know a guy who lives in a nice sub-division around Eagle Mountain Lake, you would not believe the bucks he has on his trail cam that is set up in his back yard, he is to the west of lake on a couple of acres, big bucks!
