TV HDMI question

Macie got a new DVD player for Christmas. It only has a hdmi hook up. Her cable box is also hdmi. Her tv only has one HDMI slot. Other than just switching the hdmi cables when switching from cable to DVD are there any options?

2 x 1 hdmi switcher. You can pick them up cheap. A good one will have auto switching for input one when it senses signal.
