Good evening all,
A few buddies of mine (2 including mel) have been leasing 2,000 acres in Menard County for the past 4 years, one has recently purchased a place of his own and decided not to renew. We are considering adding 2-3 more responsible hunters from the Houston area to join us, preferably friends rather than individuals. We have put our heart and soul into this place feeding and managing the best we know how. We have a camp house that we cook and shower in but have campers for our sleeping arrangements, new members would need a camper for themselves. We have added additional drops around the camp area including AT&T cell phone boosters and (don't laugh) internet. The lease is year round and very family oriented. We would like to put our feelers out there to see who might be interested. The lease total is $15,000 annually, so depending on whether we have a total of 4/5 hunters the cost is divided equally and requires year round feeding. There are plenty of whitetail, turkey and axis, sadly NO hogs. Right now we are only seeing what kind of a response we get to determine if advertising is worth the headache. SERIOUS inquirys ONLY PLEASE.
