I harvested this great buck this evening. I've been hunting him since October. I've had multiple encounters with this buck. This buck became my obsession and tested my persistence as a bow hunter.My boy and I hunted him every chance we got, with my boy in basketball and his play practice he hasn't had much time behind the gun. The only times I could hunt him with my bow was when the north east wind was blowing.That turned out to be a constant wind this winter. I think all my hunting friends and people around me new about this buck because that's all I would talk about,lol. He came in at 18 yards it took 13 long minutes to get the perfect shot. I sent the arrow and it hit home and he ran 40 yards and piled up. I felt a tremendous rush because I knew I got him finally.
