Who hunts with a boykin?

Any Boykin owners? This is my 2 year old. Don't get to hunt him as much as I'd like but plan to get him on some birds between now and New Years.

I had considered one as my next retriever. But now, I'm not sure I will ever have another. I've had some kind of birddog, either goldens or britts since 1984. My last golden passed 6 years ago. And got a lab now (one and only) that will be 9 in Jan. that I've raised since it was a 8-9 week pup. May just call it quits after she is gone. We took a walk today. It was a nice day out. And a nice walk through the fields. We've made some great memories together chase-n fowl.

We have 4 Boykins from 3-12 years old and will never have anything else. They are awesome, social dogs that want to please their owner. Our 2 oldest, 12 and 9, are in their forever homes, they can hunt but don't. Our 5 yo is a hunting machine, trainers are wanting her to get her Masters title but we won't send her off. She has a Junior Hunter Advanced title with my wife as trainer as well as being the highest pointed AKC Confirmation dog ever with my wife showing her with numerous other titles. Our 3 yo is progressing but we got her at 10 months on a partnership deal, jury is still out on hunting but she keeps improving. They are cool dogs that adjust to what their owners want and are super smart, get one and you will fall in love with them. We are breeding the 5yo in late March and her pups will be outstanding as far as great structure and hunting ability.

Here's my girl-kin at the Hunting Retriever Club Grand event that was in Spring this year in Texas. We also finished 3rd in Open at The Boykin Spaniel Society National Field Trial in April this year. Ariel was the first Boykin from Texas to get her Hunting Retriever Champion title, and is the only female with this title from Texas. Are currently working to get her AKC Master Hunter Retriever title, of which there are only 8-9 Boykins in history with this title. She definitely hunts! She was amateur trained by me. Good looking pup!!! Who is he out of ?
