    Winterizing saplings

    I have a pecan sapling that started growing in my yard. Is there anything I need to do to it for the winter. I'm really wanting to keep this tree alive since I had to cut down 2 pecan trees last year.

        Heavy mulch and a blanket. You can put Christmas lights under the blanket for some heat.

        IMO, it should survive without any help.
