    Midland area

Will be moving to Midland first of January. Anyone know of any good bow ranges, shops, events etc associated around archery? Really enjoy doing 3D and indoor target stuff as well.
Been shooting trad for around 37 years, so any trad groups would be awesome to find.

    Thanks for any info

There are a couple shops around here that are decent. There is a guy named Pablo that will surely see this thread that could tell you more about the target range they set up last year in Odessa. Plus there are a few 3D tournaments around the basin in other towns fairly close to Midland.

This plus I have enough room at the house if you just want to shoot and cook I don't shoot traditional but we can still do some playing around we can shoot from how ever close to 150 or so yards And we can shoot 20 yards indoors

Plus there is a guy here in Odessa that they shoot targets on Tuesdays The two now shops in midland and Odessa do not have any type of shooting for groups

I'm in Snyder and although not that close there is a club I belong to in Lubbock that has a 3D shoot every 3rd sat. Starting in Feb. Great club and you and some of the Odessa guys could come up and shoot with us. Let me know what you find out about any shoots in Odessa, I would like to come over there and shoot again. They had some shoots south of town just off of Hw 385 years ago.

The only places to go get your bow worked on or to shoot that I trust are both in Lubbock, archery shack and Lubbock indoor archery. Great guys running those shops that are knowledgeable about bows. However Cinnamon creek is by far the best place to go! It's worth the drive for us

If you have the parts. We can do anything to put back together at the house. Include arrow tuning with hooter shooter if you want. Only thing I can't do is the new limbs if they require adaptor for EZ press.

                Thank you for the responses

I used to live about a mile from Cinammon Creek, shot there all the time
Enewman, will take you up when I get settled and come do some shooting. I pretty much do all my own stuff on my recurves and longbows, as well as build my own arrows. I also do my own dipping, cresting and fletching if anyone wants their arrows pretty.

Would really enjoy finding some groups to shoot with. Doesn't matter to me what ya shoot, much love for all types of archery

We also meet out at boh347 for shooting, BSing, BBQing and adult beverages. Get with us after deer season and warmer temps to shoot on a weekend.

Pablo is a good guy as well and he is real heavy into 3D shoots. He should chime in.

House went up for sale across the street from me last week. It has an acre and a half so you could set up your own range.

We had a heck of a time finding a house out there. Pics on realtor site can be very deceiving. We close on the one we purchased on the 29th
